At the DA’s North West Provincial Congress today, held in Potchefstroom, the party has announced Professor Theo Venter as our Mayoral Candidate for the JB Marks Municipality (see photo here).
Professor Venter brings an exemplary career of political expertise, and academic excellence, to this all-important role for the people of JB Marks. His track record includes:
* Being Special Advisor to two North West University Vice-Chancellors,
* Named Agriculturalist of the Year by journalists in the sector in 2015,
* A recognised academic and previous fellow of North York University
The announcement of Theo Venter as the DA’s Mayoral Candidate for JB Marks represents the DA’s serious intention to challenge for power in JB Marks in the upcoming local government election.
